What it is intended to do

Cosmetic change in specific, agreed concerns. Device selection, settings, session numbers and expected downtime are determined at consultation and confirmed in writing, not advertised in advance.

What an appointment generally involves

  1. 01A separate assessment appointment, including skin typing and a review of medications and medical history.
  2. 02Patch testing before a first treatment, with a waiting period before proceeding.
  3. 03Treatment delivered with protective eyewear for you and the operator, and monitoring throughout.

Who it may be appropriate for

  • Confirmed individually. Some skin types, medications, tanning history and medical conditions make these services unsuitable.
  • We will decline treatment where we do not consider it appropriate for you.

Limitations, risks and side effects

  • Expected effects can include redness, swelling and a warm sensation following treatment.
  • Recognised risks include blistering, crusting, pigment change and, uncommonly, scarring. These are discussed in full and in writing before consent.
  • We do not publish device names, wavelengths, session counts or downtime figures here; those details are specific to you and are provided at consultation.
