Skin & aesthetics, by consultation
Skin health, considered beautifully.
Meridian is a consultation-led skin and aesthetics clinic. We assess first and recommend second, with what a treatment can and cannot do set out plainly, in writing, before anything begins.
- Assessment first
- No treatment without consultation
- Adults only
- Cosmetic services for over-18s
- In writing
- Suitability, risks and fees confirmed

Where to begin
Start with what you notice
These are conversation starters, not diagnoses. Choose whichever is closest and we will work out the rest together at your appointment.
Surface texture
How the skin feels and catches light.
Evenness of tone
Areas that read differently from the rest.
Hydration & comfort
Tightness, sensitivity, a barrier under strain.
Visible change over time
Ageing is not a fault. Some people want to work with it; some do not.
Unwanted hair
A personal preference, treated as one.
Not sure yet
The most common place to begin.
Treatments
What we provide
Six categories of service. Whether any of them is appropriate for you is decided at consultation, not here.

Assessment
Skin Consultation
A dedicated appointment to understand your skin, your history and what you are hoping to change, before any treatment is considered.

Skin health
Professional Facials
Cleansing, exfoliation and hydration protocols selected for your skin on the day, delivered by a trained skin therapist.

Resurfacing
Chemical Exfoliation
Controlled exfoliation using cosmetic acid formulations, applied in graded strengths after assessment and, where indicated, a patch test.

Energy-based · regulated
Light-Based Skin Treatments
Laser and light-based services, provided only where a qualified operator has assessed your skin and confirmed the service is appropriate for you.

Prescription · regulated
Medical Aesthetics
Where a service constitutes regulated medical care, it is provided only under the appropriate clinical framework of assessment, prescription and consent, and never as a retail purchase.

Energy-based · regulated
Hair Reduction
Light-based hair reduction services, offered following skin typing, patch testing and a clear explanation of what this category of treatment can and cannot do.

Our philosophy
A good result is one you were told the truth about first.
Aesthetic work is often sold on certainty. Skin does not offer certainty. What a clinic can honestly offer is careful assessment, a clear account of the range of likely outcomes, an honest description of the risks, and the discipline to say no when a treatment is not right for the person in front of it.
That is how every appointment at Meridian is structured: time to talk, assessment in clinical lighting, then a written summary you can take away and think about.
How we workStandards
How we hold ourselves
- I
Consultation before treatment
Every service begins with an assessment. We would rather tell you that nothing is needed than sell you something that is not.
- II
Specifics in private, not in advertising
Devices, protocols, session numbers and fees depend entirely on the individual. We confirm them with you in writing rather than publishing figures that would not apply to you.
- III
Limitations stated alongside benefits
Every treatment page here sets out what a service is intended to do and what it cannot do. Nothing we provide is guaranteed, permanent or risk-free.
- IV
No pressure, no shame
We do not use countdowns, scarcity or language that treats an ordinary face or body as a problem to be fixed. Declining is always a reasonable answer.
Before-and-after imagery
Published only with explicit, specific consent from the person shown and where permitted for that treatment. Until then, we show none.
Named devices and products
Equipment, prescription products and protocols are discussed with you individually rather than advertised.
Testimonials or ratings
We do not publish client quotes, scores or awards. Nothing here is written to look like proof.
Next step
Begin with a conversation.
Send your name, how to reach you, and roughly what you would like to discuss. Please leave out medical history, medication and photographs, because those are handled securely at your appointment, not by email.
